hi mate
im a wc too but i looked into the driveway cleaning with a full kit pressure washer rotary thing n all along with sealers etc.
decided window cleaning and whilst still interest to a degree my concern is pricing the job right coz after jet washing off - you need to allow the surface and bits in between slabs to dry off completely before re-sanding and then apply the sealer you might also have to pre-treat the week before with a weed killer tpye soltion - it seemed to me that potentially could be going back to the 3/4 times and then there was the possibility of problems - ie loose slabs, clouding if sealing when its too damp (bast'd to get off as well) so kinda put me off - but the pros are charging upwards of 500 coz usually youd be going through one or 2 25kg drums of sealer per job

Hi Dave,
When someone asks me about window cleaning i give them a window cleaners number, maybe you should see if there is someone in your area and get a finders fee!!! Just a thought ;)

I agree. However most businesses have to expand to survive. Especially the window cleaners. We were once just office cleaners then expanded to window cleaning traditional then to WFP and also carpet cleaning in HWE and LM... There are other services that we too offer.
Everyone starting in a new form of trade will only get experience by doing and through mistakes is how we learn.
Go for it, and reap the rewards to be had. We use to sub lots of work. Not any more we were at one time subbing and then realised we were losing a lot of money so decided to invest in the right equipment and the right training (where required).
We soon will be investing in jet washing. As we have had many enquiries.

I totally agree with you there, my main issue is when window cleaners use it as an add on and then go around charging less than the guys who only do PW and hence don't have what you would call a monthly income!!! As PW is not something customers have done once a month(more like every 2/3 years)
But I am more than happy to help people out ;)

i too looked into it you are talking around £1000 new equip. £600 sec hand gear, but can you afford to buy sec hand to break down. get custom first to pay 4 itself.
