Just switched to Ettore hard after Pulex soft for ages...found they were wearing out too quickly.  Like you David I deal with a lot of salt and coastal residue.

This is like a blast from the past. When I first started on this forum there was loads about which rubbers are best. It set me off on a great experimental phase where I tried all sorts and got thoroughly confused. I just use a small sqeegee because a lot of houses have tichy windows so to be honest it doesn't make much difference. Buy the cheapest ones and change them regularly.

I pick up whats on the shelve at my suppliers, never look just put it in, when worn out turn it around, then cut it down to fit smaller tools.

At the price cheaper than fAgs and lasts longer

Pulex soft for about the lst 15 years

As does the windowcleaner1 I tend to replace my 18" blade then cut the used down for the 14" about one side a week. Probably less now I am using WFP more
