Surely if resin is leaving the di vessel it will block the jets or maybe damage the pump.  ???

no it goes through,  the filter is meant to stop the stuff,   when i empty my resin there is always less in there than when i start,

ignore what i said about filter,  wasnt thinking right

the reason ur resin is gone is it is going out with the water then on to your windows,   u might notice a few bits on window, if you dont rinse enough,   dont think u can stop it

Resin should not leave the vessel. I would check the riser tube & all the bits connected to it including any rubber seals (maybe one up in the head where the riser tube fits into it)

What brand & type of resin are you using?

And, do you actually mean it was empty of resin or just water?

I wonder, if you reverse the flow through the di vessel, as in the wrong way around, would the resin come out then???

It depends on the vessel. I have two 11ltr vessels, with one, yes resin would come out with a reversed flow but with the other it wouldn't! Different design of head & riser between them both

i think that's what it must be!

Iuse 2 DI vessel method, I've snapped connectors before, and swapped parts around maybe somehow just not in this configuration !!
