Title: Thanks LTT
Post by: benny d on November 11, 2010, 03:01:29 pm
I orderd some cleaning solution from them last week.
As of yesterday It hadnt arrived so I called, and they were good enough to send me another bottle first class for free which I received today, along with the one that had gone missing!
Thanks LTT - good service.
Ben

The problem is, they are too expensive. Even their trade bulk prices dont really offer much in terms of normal bulk discount prices. For instance, if you but a litre of something and fancied getting 5ltrs the price is nearly the same as buying 5 x 1lts. Er, dont think so ::)

Its daft really, if they reduced their prices to a sensible level then I for one would buy all my stuff there (and I buy a lot - but from somewhere else).

1L Strong Cleaner  £12.50.
5L .......................   £30.00.

That's a pretty good bulk buy discount??
Should see the Joe Public prices they charge.

Personally, I think LTT are great value and when you use the products the way they train you to, you are quids in on every job and that includes protector.

I've used other leather cleaners and nothing comes close to LTT's products, training and support.

5 litres £30 is good, paid over £50 for 5 litres from furniture clinc

Where are you finding these prices? Because all I can see by going to the LTT site is Strong Cleaner 1L £35

Edit: Found my log in details, although overall the prices are still higher than FC

Maybe they have changed it recently?

However....

Satin gloss 200ml can = £10.28
Satin gloss 1L bulk - £50.34

So 5 seperate 200ml cans is almost exactly the same as 5L. So therefore no bulk discount! Its bad enough that the bulk price is non existent, but over £70 (inc vat & delivery) for one litre .....shocking :o

Mark

Our prices have been the same for some time now.

Using bulk product through your airbrush goes a hell of a lot further than 5 aerosol cans of the same so therefore the bulk product is a much cheaper way of buying it.

Good leather finishes are an expensive product toproduce and you get what you pay for - tested product that works and wears well.

The lady from LTT is very nice and offers great service to me whenever I need supplies, she lost her husband not long ago , yet is still in business , whilst I dont know her personal circumstances of family life , the fact that she is still trading alone , makes her an industry hero.

I'd completely forgotten about that, and apologise for seeming insensitive - although I didnt say anything personal just about pricing. I agree they are good products and under those circumstances she has my repect.

Unless I totally mis-understood something I thought Andy and Judy were busines partners, and that Andy had a wife away from the business.
