Title: Tinted glass

Having cleaned windows today,i then went to clean the inside. The glass looked dirty and dusty, when the sun was on them. Someone told me this is because the windows are tinted and the sun is so low. Is this true because i couldn't solve the problem.

ive noticed a few window film tinting firms round my way and i thought it was just for cars . yesterday when i was getting diesel an astra van was at the pumps. this was a tinting/solar control  firm for houses/shops ,and he had double 13 ladders with mitts on the end .
