Post by: John M Byrne on November 08, 2010, 03:09:16 pm
Hi Pic is of a run of Denim Dye on Wool Rug.  Customer blotted with water, I have blotted with MS and Citrus Gel and extracted with fibre & fabric rinse.  Stain is much lighter,  any Ideas how to imorove or compleetly remove.

Thanks

you will need to bleach it, the safest method is with a mixture of oxibrite-fibre buff and fibre shampoo Prochem can give you details of how to mix and use the chemicals. There are of course other agents as well.

Red Rx and iron method should do the trick, had great success on dye stains in the past
