Title: RO pumps
Post by: Chris Cottrell on November 07, 2010, 09:02:46 pm
I have had a pump connected to my RO unit for 5 years now when I first connected it the PSI was just over 100 now a few years on its now only pumping at 65 PSI so its slowed down somewhat.

Question is do you think its time for a new pump to boost production?, Do these pumps have a certain shelf life?, Do they slow down with age/use?

I cant be certain but the tone of the pump when its running sounds like it could be labouring a touch
