Title: Methods for pet hair
Post by: andrew christopher on November 07, 2010, 09:12:57 am
What is preferred method of getting up cat hair?

I had a carpet covered in the stuff

Vac first
Envirodri to pull out hair before prespray
Vac again
prespray
envirodri again
extract

Still the stuff came out

Any better ways to do it?

Andy

Good vaccum cleaner and a good carpet rake always does the trick for me. Once they are damp its twice as hard to get them up.

Try one of JML rubber brooms, about £10, amazing at picking up hair.
They do a hand brush and a broom. Head not very wide though.
