Post by: mark blundell on November 06, 2010, 06:30:15 pm
Hi all I am looking to start up a window cleaning business i have not started yet but hopefully buying van WFP system ect next week.

there is not 1 window cleaner advertised in my local paper and my sister has lived here for 3 years and she cannot get a w/c there are w/c in the area but iv'e not had any leaflets knocks at the door ect.

I could do with a little help if anyone could spare me a little time.

I am also thinking about doing bwca course wfp2 I just think it looks the part especially with the commercial customers.

question 1 am I best to offer 4 or 6 weekly both or other

question 2 what happens with your booked cleans if you cannot do it for some reason rain, illness, or even booking a holiday?

question 3 what is the best way to get commercial work in.

and has anyone got any paperwork templates w/c called today
new customer form ect ect anything of help only really needing the wording as my better half is a graphic designer and she is going to design all my paperwork for me

any other information that you think would be useful would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

question 1 am I best to offer 4 or 6 weekly both or other

I Offer 4 or 8 weekly and i think its the best as some custys do request 4 weekly, do 6/12 weekly and you will need lots more custys

question 2 what happens with your booked cleans if you cannot do it for some reason rain, illness, or even booking a holiday?

you dont book work in as its regular, one offs are only booked in, if you cant do them contact them to re arrange,

question 3 what is the best way to get commercial work in.

website, advertising, domestic work is best tbh
