does any one use a 12v water pump, so i can pump water out if a tank in to a van, as can get water for free, just no supply near it

i have seen 12v submersible pumps if that is any help, but cant remember where though but they are available

ebay 12 volt bilge pump.
i use one and it works fine.

i take it there is no mains electricss near by,if there were bq sell a sub-pump twenty pounds
i dont think a 12v pump will be fast,saying that how about a booster pump from purefreedom? or similar

any thing as long as it is fast and works off 12v, seen a few on ebay, but was wondering if any one used any one here

a £15 bilge pump off ebay ran off a car battery takes about 20 minutes to fill a 650 ltr tank.
about the same time it takes to make and drink a cup of coffee ;D

I have one of those 12v bilge pumps from Gardiners...it's in the van tank...good for filling the back pack, trolley and emptying the van tank back into the static tank in winter...
Just a question...how does the person where you get free water from get the water into their tank? if that is what it is used for?
