what sort of card do you leave after you have done a residential job? a card and an envelope to post or just a slip of paper?
my current way is to leave a laminated card saying i have cleaned the windows and details on where to send the cheque to with a blank envelope
I've pretty much ran out of my old cards now and am after some new ideas, I want to try and get some custys to pay via a bank transfer which i want written on my new slips. seems expensive to have some new ones printed off professionally

i just print out
your windows have been cleaned and when i will be back, but have changed it to include online payments, tehn after xmas, will be getting free post envelopes, so they can pay online or by check
-
invoice every custy leave the ones
who send cheque a sae with invoice
those that pay online just an invoice ;)
-
Just print them off computer and stick them on post it note and attach to SEA for those that send cheque

I've got 60 - 70 % of my customers on bank transfer. What I did was speak to them and ask if they use internet banking. If they do, then ask if its ok to leave your details after you have cleaned their windows as you have to stop collections.
Then I print out on the back of a leaflet saying your windows have been cleaned. Payment via bank transfer and put amount and bank details on there.

Mine look something like this.
I print them myself 2-up on an A4 sheet - big enough not to be discarded in error by the customer (hopefully) :) .
If this comes out it should show a 2-up of side 1 and the same for side 2.

Mine's a DL reply-paid envelope.
On the back it says "Your windows were cleaned today". It has spaces for me to write the date, amount and customer number. It also has my direct bank details and my paypal details.
So, with one envelope, they can send a cheque or get the details to pay me the other two ways I accept.
