If they give you some spill that your head is knackered, i have a spare one you can have Gav,with one injector missing, also a diesel pump should you ever need it.I had loads of grief with my old one and spent thousands on it too.
-
Ive got 57 plate, 44k miles, its just had a new gearbox, clutch & indicator switch fitted, thank god it was under warranty!!

what do u want for it m8 ;)

if anyones thinking of buying a brand new fiat, think carefully as they try to wriggle out of their warranty requirements, had my airbag light come on constantly, and they said its not under warranty, although all electrics are. the guy had a cheek to say the warranty booklet doesnt mean anything.
had to go thru headoffice to sort it out! been a good van eitherwise.

Had you previously had the cambelt changed?
I believe they have a 5 year/72,000 mile suggested limit.
I've been reasonably lucky so far because the gearbox went just inside the warranty period. I've never trusted it since then even though the second one has now done 50,000. The van has actually done 88.5k so far so another service coming up. I will probably hold fire till early February and get service and MOT done all in one go. Should be about 91,000 by then (unless it falls to bits first).

I've a T5 lwb and when i replace it i'll get a swb. They have a greater carrying capacity and your poles will fit in it perfectly. I have to extend my poles about a foot so they don't hit the bulk head then the back doors when i go and stop. Theres enough room in a lwb for another tank,so a bit of a waste really. Get a 5 cylinder one if you can 130bhp or 174bhp.

is dat yr van m8 its mint
like the plate oh yeah
scooters reliable as they come ;D

That's interesting to read as I understood that they had resolved the gearbox problems around the 55 plate.
Even if I had been thinking of getting another Trafic eventually, this would put me off even more.
I do feel that my next van will probably be a Hiace or a Transit. I just want some more time out of my Trafic first though. Hopefully I can get another couple of years from it without it being too expensive (should be around 115,000 by then).
