i sent them last year ,it took me ages to find a card with windows on it. the ones i bought were from a cheapjack store  .

im not 100% sure if i really should be sending any because although a friendly gesture it could be seen as begging/craving for work which is a bad way to appear

We send out quality christmas cards every year to all our customers. Thanking them for their business throughout the year. We also enclose  leaflet outlining all the services we provide.

We always receive many "thank yous" in the new year and also extra work for our other services.

I don't see this as begging/craving for work. It's our way to say thanks and if we get extra work etc then that's a bonus.

So for us sending Christmas cards is worth it. (also tax deductable).
