who knows? Maybe i was being watched? Maybe someone worked at vauxhalls and could get duplicate keys? Maybe someone that used to work for me had a duplicate? Maybe they were poop hot at wiring? I'm not into playing inspector morse but i know at the moment i am 15k down and can't get my work done so how about go be thick somewhere else ;)

for someone in the know its so easy to take any van or car no matter how new,    some of these people make a good living out of it,    the hardest part is usually getting the door open because once there in its only a matter of seconds before they get it started.

my mate was in a petrol station last year when someone had some guys 09 Audi away off the forcourt while he was paying for his petrol,   his only crime was that he left the door unlocked,  he had the keys with him and apparently kept saying   but how can they drive it off when I have the only key here in my hand ?

>BFG

Thanks bfg. I guess Steve CM isn't in the mood right now to see the wider implication which for the avoidance of doubt is that we shouldn't assume that a recent van is safe because we have the keys in our pocket.

I for one will be more careful to lock the front doors (as I have a bulkhead to prevent entry from the back section) when I am working whether I have the keys or not.

the hardest part of robing a car is getting in, once in   most are easy to start,  why do you think the AA can get u going if lose keys,  most thatcham alarms work on people not being able to get in

cheers boys, much appreciated.

I am starting to lose hope though and some CCTV footage i thought may give me evidence wasn't in the direction of the van being robbed.

The AA can also open doors
