Look on polarbrite.co.UK they have some good deals on hose and reels

They seem cheaper than the ones i looked at on ebay but time you pay p&p still looking about £75.00 just for the reel .The money is not the problem i just wanted to know if they are worth buying what is the advantages

Thanks for that, that is what i thought

make sure you buy a metal hose reel, mines lasted 3 years now, and still going, a plastic one will last a couple of weeks,

I think the cleaning warehouse have a reel and hose deal for 125 with free delivery

My plastic/alloy one is still being used daily after 6.5 years! ;)
It's never been "fixed" either so it gets thrown in & out of the van all the time too! ;D
-
Just buy what you're happy with mate; if you want a plastic one fine ; if not get a metal one.

I got the same one (nearly its gardina make) sat in my garden doing nothing, I have bent the spindle, or damaged the threads (maybe both) on my metal reel. I may try it this week instead of my metal reel to see how it goes, Will it hold 100 meters of microbore? (or is it minibore? 8mm)

i bought a plastic reel of gardiners for use in my garden, but have put a reel on it and use in my van, cost me £15, it is good,

I can only speak of hoselock mate, I don't have any experience of Gardena products.
The one I gave a link to will hold 100m of 8mm hose as it's a 60m reel. I have 80m on a 50m reel & still have some room left for a bit more. ;)
The only thing you will have to do is replace the rubber "o" ring on the male spindle connector now'n again at a cost of a few pennies!

I like the plastic ones, but I also like the metal ones?
Theres only one way to find out.................................
FIGHT!
