Title: Chemspec High Heat PH Level
Post by: oliver collins on October 30, 2010, 09:55:39 pm
Hi Guys

I was thinking of trying chemspec high Heat powder as its an acid rinse

But i noticed that it comes in a liquid as well the PH is 3-4

The powders  PH is 9.5-10.5

Can anybody tell me why

I know its not just a acid rinse but a acidic based cleaning liquid

Any body tried it is it any good

I use craftex acid rinse at the momment for wool jobs but i think that there must be a better product out there
and is not very economical to use.

Any advice would be helpful

ph 3.5 is acid
ph 9.5-10.5 is alkaline

The powder will be for extraction rinse and the liquid for neutralisation spray after.

I think

I use the liquid form through truck mount and happy with it. It does not have a strong smell which can be a good thing in some situations.

they both work well but the powder and the liquid are 2 completely different chemicals the liquid is acid and the powder is alkaline.
