This is john ben, i would like to know if you do rug cleaning in your shop and do you accept credit cards for payment, can i speak with the owner or the manager actually i just relocated from my old house in man utd, down to your city 3 days ago and i would like to know how much will 9 x 12 rug cost for cleaning and actually i have 15 rugs of that, can you do the total calculation for the cleaning for the 15 rugs sized 2500 square feet basically i just moved in to your city liverpool  now and i am at the hospital right now because i was down with a diagnosis of cancer of the lungs as such i had to spend some time in the intensive care,so i want to do the cleaning arrangement for the rugs and after completing the payment with my credit card,so that i can contact my private delivery shipper in man utd to move those rugs down to your shop for the cleaning Asap, so let me know if you can handle that for me.

Due Regards

How is he looking to make money?  Maybe he pays too much then ask for a partial refund even though the money only 'looks' like it went into the bank  ???

it works like this  ( in simple terms)
they book in the rugs for cleaning  but hey presto they get rushed to hospital so can't you pay the shippers who have the rugs but are holding them for payments
Can they send a cheque up for shipping and rug cleaning and can you pay the shipper in the mean time.

Guess what the cheque never comes or is made of rubber, you've paid the shipper( them) for rugs that never arrive and if they do call you they use BT text to voice service, to cover their tracks.

BAsically it's a con
Reckon I'll go in at £24 Gunny  :D

Hello,
Thanks for your reply, actually i wouldn't be able to do the delivery and pick up due to the nature of my illness but have made a booking with a private shipping guy that will deliver the rugs to your shop for the cleaning and i can come and pick it up after you have the cleaning done is that understood and can i have your  address where it will be delivered to and i will like you to do me a favour, and the favour is ....  I will give you my credit card to charge for the sum of 3000pounds and you will deduct the sum of 1,500pounds for your fee deposit for the cleaning and send the remaining 1,500pounds via western union money transfer to the delivery shipper, for his own shipping fee  so that he can be able to go and pick those rugs from my former house in (LONDON) and deliver the rugs down to your workshop and once he deliver the rug you can write an estimate for me for the cleaning and i can make a payment for the remaining balance minus 1,500pounds i am making now ... hope you understand, and can you handle that for me ?

Due Regards,
Hope Newton.

The fact I put the address down as South Shields police station hasn't put him off

Its all untraceable inc the Western Union transfer.

There must be some people who are that gullible to make it worthwhile taking the time to  send the emails.

Its a long way from Nigeria to Yorks!
