Does anyone have their ro 4040 set up vertically...
Does the position make any difference...
I am moving my setup and am bringing a slim 2000 litre tank into the workspace but am limited for additional space.
The tank is 196cm wide, 176 high and 69 deep....so the idea is to have the HF5-4040 on top of the tank...so the water will go the the pre-filters which will be at the side of the tank but at the top, then into 2x DI vessels which again will be at the side but at top...can anyone see anything that would make this unworkable...I know it's not that high but just throwing it out there...by the way the water pressure is normally 55psi.

Mine is verticle, Works absolutely fine. i asked this about a year ago, and got the same advice.

Inlet bottom, more pressure on the membrane that way I would imagine.

The thing you might want to bear in mind is that letting an RO membrane dry completely ruins them. If it's vertical, you might be more prone to this if you take a few days off - I think it depends on the route your hoses follow. So, you might just want to try to make sure that with everything switched off, water stays in the RO vessel rather than draining out.
