i don't need to know exact prices but i'd like an idea on the price i should be charging for hard floor cleaning, e.g. £2.50 per square meter.
I've previously looked into this but don't get a good answer so just price at what i'm happy with at the time but i'm always left wondering if i'm high, low or about right.
for instance we have a load of safety floor which needs a clean with our rotary every 6 weeks. the floor doesn't get too dirty (especially now with the new products for when we mop) but it should take a while to get it back to as clean as possible. the total size in every room put together is approx 20 square meters, maybe a little more.

I have the same problem....
I think if you go by your hourly average price you should be around the right area for pricing..... ??? So if you are happy at making £50 p/h, work out roughly how long the job will take and you'll have a rough idea of what to charge... Well that's what I do and I'm happy with the money and they're always happy with the job.... :)

but is £50 per hour not a very huge amount of money to charge for this? currently charging this site £11.66 per hour so to jump to £50 will probably result in no work. As you say go in with what you happy for but i'm happy for £11.66 obviously, but if £50 is the norm then i'm more happy to go with what i should and not undercharge for the service.
