Hi guys
On the digital flow controller, been using around 35 for regular cleans, thinking of upping to 40/45, as I seem to be paranoid about rinsing, sometimes even rinsing double!
So just wondered what setting you guys run on?
Many thanks

i got a digi flow control from gardiners and i run it on 35-40 but i recaled it to 45 not 30 if that makes sense
-
i run at about 50 to give a good rinse then im notworried about the rinse and can clean faster
-
I had mine set on 35 aswell, but REDUCED it to 30 for every day cleans recently due to what people recommended on this forum.New cleans i go upto 40.
-
about 10
-
run mine on 40 or 50 for 1st cleans, this will be my first winter wfp so may slow down if its icey, dont want any shattered hips!
-
i dont think there is major difference between 30 - 80 anyway, only like half a litre a min, as i clean close to glass the pressure is there
-
run mine on 90!
use minibore!
blast windows quick, use a trigger so dont use lots of water!

hmmm - does the calibration effect how much flow rate u need then mine was calibrated by pure freedom and im going upto 20 and that seems ample.. :)

60 all day long!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

i had a prob with the battery, as the pump would lose pressure, but after putting up the cal, i never had a prob, but have since got rid of battery and run off the van

25 with fan jets, plenty enough, any more is wasting imo
-
30 for me. Sometimes up the flow to 40 for 1st cleans depending on how dirty they are.
-
55 allday lone for me on pure freedom
-
i run mine on 12 for regular cleans
-
The variations in settings that people use is amazing!

do you run the cables from the pump straight to the van battery terminals

I run on 25 for everyday cleans and up to 40 on first cleans. The recalibration only affects the pressure switch on the pump I think. I have a 500 litre tank and have never run out yet, though come close now and again.
One tip i'd give is to have 2 pumps installed at the outset - useful if you need to fill a barrel whilst continuing to work.

I have a p/f 25l trolley and have been using it for the odd difficult window here and there but have started to do more and more with it .... always had setting on 12 max beleiving I was saving water .... did a few yesterday with setting on 25 WOW what a difference so much faster with the rinsing and I dont think I used anymore water as only had to rinse glass for a few seconds whereas on 12 it took a few passes on a seperate note I broke it yesterday :( well just the lock handle that is but think it was down to me lifiting trolley with full container over a load of dog poo - narrow side passage and couldnt go around it trying to save time but backfired ::) ... will email p/f asking for a new handle telling them the truth and see if they will give me a freebie :D

i run from the pump to the cig lighter, as just pull out the cig lighter when not in use

i wil take a pic

the first pic is of the cig light, i had it made by a spark and then i just put tape on to make it more secure, u then run the poz and neg to the flow control, but i run mine throuigh a switch so i can turn it off at back of van, then just wire up flow control to pump as normal
