After 25 years of working weekends selling new / used cars ... missing my daughter grow up and missing loads of special times like her birthday parties etc ... not seeing the family ... not having a drink / meal out on a fri / sat night cos of work next day ... and spending far too many sat / suns talking nicely to no hopers and time wasters pretending to buy a car and too many weekends making no money there is no way I will work weekends again.

Mon to Fri working hard and weekends off ... fantastic !!

however free country so its up to you but defo not for me  :)

Worked all this weekend, £2,000 better off.  Starting again at 7 this morning.

Normally I have a life at the weekend, but not this weekend, we pulled all the stops out for a new client this weekend and it's paid off for us as we've got the contract for daily office cleaning, 3 monthly carpet cleaning and monthly window cleaning.  ;D

Perhaps all those who are dead set against working weekends, should get a job that they like more. Or get more a life during the week.
Or get a proper family that you want to avoid  ;D.

a lot of you newbies will find during periods of very bad weather occuring in the week you WILL work the odd saturday if you ve had 3 days off during the week{when you have a full round).all this crap about having a life so i dont work weekends is rubbish IMO. ;) ;D ;D ;D

the nature of this job(esp in winter)means you can have plenty of time with family/friends/kids in the week when before when you worked for someone else it wasnt possible!

also as you go on and start making more money you ll think its a waste of a day if its nice/dry and sunny on a saturday when your behind with work!! ;) ;D ;D
