had a customer ring me up saying theres a guy trying to collect the window cleaning money, she told him she already paid by chq in post, and he said he (me) doesnt accept chqs anymore and wants cash only! she said im not paying you, tell your boss to ring me to sort it out,
he was quite aggressive and wouldnt take no for an answer. this has happened to me twice in a year now, and only one street away from the last time!
she said he was either drunk or high, had a black eye and cuts on his face. he also had an old man waiting in a car outside, she called the police and he was picked up down the road.
still waiting for an update on the situation, but cant believe the cheek on some people.
if your going to try this scam at least try and look presentable and turn up not on anything!
another thing is i cleaned the windows 3 weeks ago, so wouldnt it be best to turn up within a day or two?

Its never happened to me but i suppose our proffession is perfect for idiots like him, good they got him! he'll probably get off with 120 other crimes taken into account.

just chancers, who follow you, this is one reason i dont collect on the day and tell custys when i will be back

i dont collect at all, so i think my custs would all see through the scam straight away. it did help the state of the guy though.

shocking how these low lifes think they can get away with money like that!I hope this sort of thing never happens to me because i wouldnt be able to calm my temper!
Especially as you will probably end up knowing or see him about!
