thanks matt, iv seen how cheap the fuel pumps are but its the supposed damage to the other parts ie injectors that cost the money.

waiting for the garage to tell me how bad it is, im lucky its the second van which isnt used much.

that pump is an in tank pump that pumpfuel to the HP pump, if a pump has gone on your van than it will prob be the HP pump which will prob cost £500 if not more

No it wasnt a p take.

I meant it.

I had  overstepped the mark and didnt wish to carry on digging if you see what I mean, causing ill-feeling. I had I think over time just become too wound up in what goes on on here.

Things arent always as black and white as we think they are.

Lets try and put this behind us.

Friend  8)

I will be refraining from becoming too embroiled myself in future, Ive managed to so far in the last 3 days; although Ive reached for the keyboard a couple of times reading a few dodgy posts Ive managed to avoid reacting too hastily  8)

can get a cover 65 quid a year
covers you up to 500 for repairs
and parts would cost you 25 quid excess ;)

Can you tell us more about the AA thing ? I had my relay in the garage last week £300 ish later back out, 3 days later is broke again..french = problems again and again.
end of last year I had a bill of £700 for injectors, then fuel rail pressure.

I could have bought a new van, had new engine new gearbox, clutch brakes, fuel pump, 2 starter motors, battery, the list goes on and on and on and on and on........ as you can tell my van has broke again this morning and I am not in the best mood lol

Please let me kow about the aa as that will be way cheaper option for the next time  ;D

not sure yet gav but would be more likely to part ex with garage get more.

has for the injector im with you iv told them they either repair for the quote of £850 which was supposed worst case scenario or i get van back in same condition it went without injector snapped in head.
