is the only wat to cut them off?
i got my new 22 foot clx other days with a supalite brush head (wow that brush is light)
they forgot to put the rectus fitting on instead i got sommit else with an e z snap on just wondering how you get them off? so i can replace with rectus fitting
this is so gonna cause puns on the rectus bit lol.....
-
just cut it off and loose a inch of the hose,
-
apprently according to gardiners you cut them off!
do any of u use e z snaps insteade of hose clips ? i found hose clips arent that good the ez snap looks a better fit and less likely to over squeeze and cause dripping from the hose any experiences?
-
ez snaps are the connectors are they not? Do you mean the o-clips?
-
ez snap is gardiners rectus 21's... or they used to be.
Drop it in a jug of hot water... Leave for 5 seconds and with some man power it should pull off.

I think you mean the O clip, just get two pairs of pliers and hold each side and twist in opposite direction, job done go for a pint ;)

Exactly as Stu Mac says ;)
Grip & twist and they break apart with ease.... 8)
try to use a pincers or snips or junior hacksaw blade then like me (before I learned otherwise) you will end out snarling epithets like a tourettes suffer on speed and viciously hacking a great chunk of hose off with with a blunt axe...gripped in the hand not wrapped in a blood drenched kleenex that's holding what's left of your forefinger to the rest of your hand because the junior hacksaw you tried to use, slipped and no matter how hard you try to wedge the hose to stop it moving, ones hand cannot replace a vice.... :'(
Sigh...live & learn eh?

I've been wfp for 2+ years and first time I heard that tip, thanks!!

There is a tool for it, but most use pincers.
I thought rectus, shrader, and ez were the same thing?
