Title: question about pumps n working at height
Post by: JSMC on October 21, 2010, 09:21:29 pm
may have chanc eof cleaning some panels on warehouse roofs. The point at which i would be working form ground is aboot 12-15m up on a secure gangway closed in. I would then be possibly working the pole out say 30ft. So basically from back of van hose will go up 12-15m in height and then working with pole out.

Would the pump be able to handle this? Shurflo pump. Is it capable of working for a sustained period at this height?

a 40psi pump will do that. Rough rule of thumb is that 1psi will push water 2 feet vertically.
