I can still remember my 1st muck-spreading job, in a world known shop Axminster 400rpm machine it really moved the pile manager very happy

How can it be called HWE when most machines don’t come with a heater? ::)

Its not called HWE ???

my post was about the attitude to the bonnet/rotary method and the almost fascist attitude towards this method of cleaning ie "muck spreading"

"carpet looks clean, stays clean, customer happy"  bonnet method low profile carpet

"carpet looks clean, may stay clean but possible wick back takes alot longer less profit HWE method low profile carpet.

My reference was to hwe aka steam ;D and not bonneting although I believe there are two bonnet systems who use a hot drive board and one uses a big tea earn to heat the water, who am I to knock them I use a 70lt builders bucket with heater for pre-spay £20quid machine upgraded to a £200quid machine ??? ;) ;D

"Carpet looks clean, stays clean, customer happy"? So this means a bonneted carpet never gets dirty again then?

"Carpet looks clean, may stay clean but possible wick back takes alot longer less profit"? So this means the carpet has been cleaned but not properly i.e. over wet and not dried. Will not take longer if done efficiently. Less PROFIT? Depends if you've charged enough in the first place.

In homage to the great Swiss Tony.

" carpet cleaning is like making love to a beautiful woman. Not to be rushed or hurried and every nook and cranny fully attended to.
You must remember it is not your satisfaction that is important and a marathon will bring greater rewards than a sprint."

P. S. my wife does not look at this forum. ;D ;D

" carpet cleaning is like making love to a beautiful woman.

EXACTLY!!! and we all know what  woman really wants is....... DEEP PENETRATION......... just like carpet cleaning tickling the surface will never achieve the result of water penetrating the full depths of the pile.

making love to a woman & carpet cleaning.......... the wetter the better ;D ;D

You could have a nasty case of premature extraction on your hands if you're not careful.

Being new to the forum I don't know who you are LM. But since viewing your post and it's content I took the trouble to take alook through other threads and notice you like to stir up a bit of trouble for yourself. Easy to sit at a keyboard and dictate to everyone but remember sooner or later someone will catch up with you. Not a threat as I don't do that but not everyone is as calm as me and able to spot an all mouth and no trousers bloke when they see one.

I've been carpet cleaning for many years and have and do use different systems when there approriate. There is no one system which is applicable to all circumstances my friend but it seems, judging by your posts, you're a bit of a one trick pony.

Having looked at other responses to you from members it is obvious you just like to stir people up so I'm going to guess that you'll have a come back for me as well.........don't waste your time mate, seen loads of people like you come and go.

Erm, ok Ben, sure.

Being new to the forum.......

You're clearly a well known and respected member here, so I'll heed your words.

I've been carpet cleaning for many years

That's usually the first line of someone either inexperienced or insecure.... or both.

......Not a threat as I don't do that .......

Oh, thank you soo much for 'not threatening' me! ..... clearly you haven't been stalking me either.

I shouldn't waste my time replying Benny, as your unpleasant and obnoxious post doesn't warrant one, but  you're wrong in your bizarre and aggresive outburst.  I provide a lot of help to people on the subject of LM carpet cleaning.

(Eg... See this posting that I made minutes BEFORE responding to your random hate in this thread:-

http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=111026.0    )

I just annoy the old school extraction only boys while doing it, mainly because of their own insecurity. Good luck to you Ben, with that attittude and pre-disposition to attack people you know nothing about, you're gonna need it.

You're post is bizarre and unwarranted Mr Ben Fairhurst.    Bullys are so 90s and out of fashion.

......Not a threat as I don't do that .......

Let's finish on this one again.  I have been receiving crank calls, potentially from someone on this forum (sometimes to my wife while she is looking after our 2 year old daughter), so just on the off chance that you're a real psycho and not just a pretend one as you appear, I've passed your name and IP address to the the Police Officer who is investigating.
