Yes it can be drunk after RO and DI,

However you will need to be using food grade resin and filters, The resin you will no doubt be using is commercial stuff so will make you poorly.

Pure water would make you ill after a while of drinking it, the minerals in tap water are good for our bodies.

A guy working for me drank it for a couple of days when we first started WFP.

He was off work for the next week with the squits.

You can get a "food grade" DI resin which can be used for drinking water. RO-Man used to supply it.

Pure water tastes horrible though, and the minerals in tap water are good for you, so its not great long term. Commercial drinking water purification systems normally have a "re-mineralisation" filter after the DI to improve the taste.

I was told to keep it a secret and not share it with anyone as drinking  it has been proven to give eternal life as long as you avoid the use of ladders as this is very naughty and inhibits the magical properties of the pure water reducing its effect so that  only  a slightly extended life of drudgery may be expected rather than eternal bliss.

I went on  a course at IONICS  about 3 yrs ago and the owner reckons Costa Coffee type businesses use it for making their coffee.

I think the storage is more the problem than the water. The likes of Costa will boil the water thereby killing any nasty bugs in it.

This will be especially true for those who 'harvest' rain water.

Not sure about drinking it as how do we know the condition of our filters etc.  However - it's brilliant for rinsing hair and topping up the steam iron etc  ;D
