Hello,
I'm new to the industry and just purchased an existing business but the previous chap didn't vacuum the carpets, I'm going to and wondered should I buy a Sebo or are Dyson's up to the job?
Any advice much appreciated

Sebo BS 36 no question is far superior than the Dyson in every respect i now have them at home too ,threw the Dyson out.
-
James is right. Get a Sebo BS36.
-
BS 36 for its versatility
If a Kirby could clean edges very easily like the sebo then I would say a 2nd hand Kirby.
-
Got rid of the bs36 for a Royal :P
-
Same problem with the Royal though, Dave
If you want to do edges its a bit of a bind, except more so with the Royal then the Kirby.

BS46 for me.... After the wife stole my BS36 due to it's brilliant performance ;)

Get yourself a pile lifter and you will no longer need that gym membership so it will pay for itself. ;D

Fenman
I have used one and the result was amazing.

We use them on every job.
Superb piece of kit but knackering when you have to carry them up 3 flights of stairs.
-
I use a Sebo, never heard of a pile lifter have you got a link please

When I used to work for someone we had to use them on every once did a job up a spiral staircase!!
I'm surprised that sebo haven't brought out a brush roll that is covered in bristles.

Thanks for the advice chaps, I'm going for Sebo 36.

I have the Chemspec pile lifter vacuum, great piece of kit, no longer available now. I do not use it all the time due to the weight , so the BS36 comes out on 98% of jobs.
-
Definitely Sebo BS36.

I use a Miele a great vac ;D
