Anyone have problems getting a new brush stock to screw on fully onto an angle-adaptor?
Im sure I read on here before about that and theres a tip to sorting it so the brush screws on fully.
Any clues guys?

Yep, mine are dreadful. However, if you buy a new Gardiners brush with the re-enforced socket they go on easy peasy.
-
With my Gardiner brushes I just push the angle adaptor in really hard first before turning it. If I remember right, when I used to use Vikans I had to saw about 15mm off the socket!
-
Screw the brush head onto a metal threaded connection so it cuts the plastic thread easier than plastic on plastic would.

And that’s what you call progress, winproclean.
How much time went into the development of that brush, LOL
Give you a tip buy the Vikan broom socket and it works perfectly, the problem you will encounter, it does cost a whopping £1.40. (Opposed to the cheap 25p socket Gardiner’s use) How much did you pay for that brush? LOL
There you go I just did the so called development (problems) with that brush (and it took me 1 minute)
No hack sawing, gluing or re-threading needed. LOL
I have no problem with the Gardiner brush socket Ewan, it's the VIKAN brush that was the problem! numpty HEAD for the second time tonight! ;D ::)

I don't think Ewan likes gardiners for some reason

Works for a competitor that's why. Not very high up though - I think he just makes the tea. ;D

It’s unfortunate for Gardiner’s it comes across that way, but that’s not accurate.
The real problem is a few of you will not see fault with Gardiner’s products and if anybody mentions a word against Gardiner’s you jump in on them.
I have seen people post on here about something breaking on there new pole and some of you have jump on him like a ton of bricks.
CIU is full of threads about Gardiner’s equipment breaking or wearing very quickly. And you will find someone like winproclean often jumping into a thread praising Gardiner’s countering the negative comment.
I think winproclean and just a few others are taking the members of this forum for fools.

Thats rich coming from the guy who regularly goes back and deletes his replies on various threads, there is NO logical or rational reason to do that, unless your a fool.
Locked Ewan because of you.
