Title: Tecbuck brushes
Post by: Nameless Drudge on October 16, 2010, 04:01:36 pm
Anybody using or used one?, not cheap £60 appx.,small as less than 9 inches by appx. 1 1/2,light(under 300g)they sound good. I noticed them as there is one on ebay and then perused the tecbuck site.

I was put off buying one as when i asked the question of are there any testimonials as to their effectiveness i was basically told the research had been done and believe what you are told.Well not at £60 a pop i wont. The very square edges to what i am reliably informed is a very hard stock concern me(potential to cause damage).

Yes well i've seen them advertised and read how fantastic the manufacturer says they are but I don't know anyone who has used one.
£60 is a tad pricey when comparing to similar products although this brush is different because I believe it has a scraper attatchment.
If this brush is as good as Tecbuck say it is surely it would be worth their while giving sample brushes to independant fieldtesters who in turn could give their verdict on the forums.
And if the verdict is positive it would help to increase Tecbuck sales.

is any good for washing Mondeo estate  ;D brush looks handy with the scrapper on but £60 for a brush is a bit steep when you get one for under £30

Can't be that great then? Or maybe we will see a Super-Lite with a scraper on very soon?

Maybe a Super-lite with more splay doubling as a sill brush.

Its not unusual for businesses to purchase competitors items to check them out.
It would be interesting to know what Alex Gardiner thought of the Tecbuck Brush

He's a shrewd businessman.
You have to purchase the carbon fibre gooseneck for the brush.  :D

Pause for thought:

Alex tried out boars hair brush...... - sold on, not for sale on gardiners website

Tecbruk brush, evaluated, selling on ebay, similar but minimised on gardiners website to follow shortly.
