Title: tds off the scales

Can this be for real!!!! my tap readings are 380 on the tds meter but only 2 weeks ago it was reading 220.... how can my tap water jump up a 160 just like that???
Dose anyone no how to go about calliberating a tds meter correctly if so can i have some advice please please please.  Rob!

TDS from the tap can fluctuate seasonally. If one reservoir was running low & the local water board switch to a different source etc etc,..

Compare with triple distilled Vodka as a guide to see if its working OK, it looks like it is, tds can vary depending upon which borehole  the waterboard draw the water from. Start recycling rainwater.  8)

There never right the old seven trent!!  i'd rather canal water to be honest lol..... The amount we spend on bills it should be coming through 000  ;)  Im sure my meters still a bit dodgy thou!!!

also if there has been any waterworks repair work they flush the system and can effect tapwater tds.
