Steve ,
I am trying all 3 next week on a job some carpets i do every 3 months the product does look like it has the abilities looking at all the   info.

Dilution rates are very favourable along with the price for the product, not that I am going to divulge the price on here as yet :)  just incase I have misundertood  the prices I have been furnished with, cant wait to try them ,as for rotobrite11   I am personaly not impressed with the foaming abilities .

Gunny,

Can you keep this thread going as I have regular hotel carpet contract where I bonnet every month but I am using Prochem Bonnet Buff and it goes down at 300ml per 5 ltrs. Results are good but not brill to be honest.

Now that seems to me to be a lot of product to put down if I can use a few ounces instead and get better results I would be interested.

Just completed job for law firm in Newcastle client very impressed commented on the smell(very nice) last time they had cleaner there all day and carpets looked no different but I removed all tea/coffee stains and it looked clean too.

Not sure how this product would work using encap method as I feel it doesn't foam up enough imo

Hi sorry for not mentioning the product,we used the Surround Ultra a 1 in 30 mix.this is the one with the lemon smell. You can also get the Surround Free which is 1 in 60 mix, this is the one to use in hospitals and care homes. We have not yet used the Surround Green for the treehuggers.

This forum needs people like Steve to come and tell us about the latest products, I didn't know about this and if it wasn't for Steve I wouldn't have known how great Allergstop was either.

big difference in the suppliers gary imho anyway

and another point, Is anybody asking you to pay for a licence to use this product,? I dont believe so.
and is anybody asking you ensure you buy a minimum amount of this product ?  I dont believe so.

So a bit of a stupid analogy really!!

and as the products name has been mentioned , yes I am trying on Monday should have been this week but had to cancel, and if its good I will say ,if it isnt I will say just like I have in the past about certain encap products.

The product is available from Restormate,it was pointless saying where it was from as they did not have it readily available, it is in stock now.

Tried the no rinse spotter on some permanent marker which produced an acceptable result today

We have now used the 3 new products,Surround Ultra with the lemon smell on a office block,Surround Free was used in a nursing home and we have just finished job in a soft play area and the customer requested the Surround Green. We are giving our customers the choice of the product as they all clean exactly the same. The pricing is exactly the same at £29.95 a gallon only difference being the Surround Free is a 1 in 60 mix rather than the 1 in 30 on the other 2 products. We got the products fro John Kelly at Restormate.

I will be very interested to order and try out these products if they're from John at Restormate.

Can't see anything on the restormate website yet.

[Edit: Noe featured on front page.  John can expect an order form me first thing in the morning].

I used a sample today on a church hall that I clean 3 times a year, I have Lm cleaned it with various cleaning products and then had to HWE certain parts this time I just LM cleaned it and was delighted had a phone call from the church warden (I asked him to call me) he said he was delighted.

It's a bit harder to use at first as I found the best way was to spray and get straight on it with the buffer immediately, there's very little foam which is why it's a bit tougher to use but once you get the hang it's easy, very good on stains also.

It doesn't foam up as much as you would expect for an encap product but still does a very good job,the no rinse spotter is also very good especially when giving a demo as you can demonstrate stain removal without the need to set up

i tried  the products yesterday and as already mentioned ,foaming ability not brilliant but results good, what i did try was to mix some fibre shampoo into the mix and the foaming was far better, now i may be completley wrong in doing this, i dont know, but results were good, and as the shampoo did have encapsulation properties i thought worth giving a go.

How effective was the product with removing tea and coffee stains?
Does the product have sodium met in across the range?
If you add fibre shampoo to the solution will it effect the encaping abilities?

thanks

Andy

Not tried it on tea but I'd have thought its more of a solvent substitute or degreaser.

Does it not leave a residue that has to be vacced?
Title: Re: New Encap/bonnet cleaning chemical

If being used as an encap product I would say yes but as a bonnet product I would say no as normal daily vacuuming would remove any residue if any

First complaint about Surround last night smell was too strong and overpowering  ::) ::) Given the fact you could still smell paint fumes where decorating had just been done that did not bother her but the smell of the product did ::) ::)
