Would you Adam and eve it....it's 2.6 deg outside....do you think it's gunna be another cold one this year?
-
no.
I'm still wearing shorts here in leafy berkshire and I was out for my hour long walk at 05.15 this morning.

Got heavy frost here Dave. :( Got some winter service contracts set up this year though. Another Brit in the next city.
We can work down to minus 6 but Feb is normally a freeze for about 2 or 3 weeks. Reckon we are sorted this year :)

its going to be cold, but not bad, just work less hours and more than 2 days a week ;D
-
does have a nip in the air this morning

Nothing we can do about it so may as well get on with it! Winter of 1980 (last really cold one) was followed by a mild one so maybe we get lucky.

Where were you last winter?

Last winter was coldest one since 1980. Point I was making that the winter of 1980 was immediately followed by a mild one (according to stats I saw) so shouldn't assume it's going to be as bad as last year.
