Found this on ebay http:// cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220441347052&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
It's a state of the art low moisture carpet cleaning system, although the cynical ones amongst you might say it looks remarkably like a paint roller with a cloth tied round it, but you'd be wrong. ::)
The mind boggles.

Have you used it Paul? Does it work?
ps. just post the web address without any breaks then all we need to do is click on it. The days are gone when links were blocked.

Hi
Glad to see it does Upholstery as well!
Dave
-
Well I've ordered mine!
-
seems like a gimmick to me. what can it do that a microfibre cloth can't? you woujldn't be able to put much pressure either so it would simple just glide across the carpets.
-
Looks great :D
-
Wow see that picture on ebay of it cleaning that carpet throw away your truck mounts guys ::) ;D
-
I know someone who started CCing on their hands and knees with sponges and some shampoo, then moved on to using a paint roller with a long handle. After that a shampoo deterger machine before at last going into extraction cleaning.
Yes you are correct, it was me!
Dave.

The good old days hey ;D

Cheers for that Paul, I've sold the truckmount and have bought three of those, one for each hand and one to stick up my backside for all the good it'll do :)

Yeah here's the finished result of my first job with this fabulous new system, isn't it great??!!

Your not trying hard enough Jim. :)
I got 2 of them, hence the Prowler for sale ;D ;D
-
Jim, you should start by cleaning your own carpets, when you get the chance. ;D
Iv`e ordered a case of 1001 to go with my new machine/roller
-
Gary,I like it. ;D ;D ;D
-
The price is quite reasonable - I am ordering one as a backup.
-
Not great from a perception point of view in front of the custers. were supposed to be going in to extract the dirt, not extract the Michael. I'd be told to "pick a window" if I walked into a house with that muck, hair brained piece of scrap.
-
I think it was a joke Neil :)

You're not wrong. Not too long ago (and he might still be at it) someone was selling carpet cleaning businesses.......well sort of
For your money you got a HWE machine and tools and a prochem course just for the small amount of £5k
Not satisfied with that he was knocking out window cleaning businesses too. Along the same lines but with a course at Ionics in Swindon.
I don't know if he's still at it because he got some right flack via e-bay questions from people off here and other forums.
It's not called flea bay for nothing.

sounds like a decent idea neil. if say you'd have spent 4k on supplies, you're spending another 1k on someone gathering it all for you so you get the best chemicals for the best job, best training etc. of course he may have just bought cheap stuff to maximise profits but if done well i think the idea if great as it can be quite overwhelming the amount you need to get organised just to start carpet cleaning.
