Title: ladder question

i have a double 3.5 meter middlands point ladder i did a gutter clean on friday and to be honest it would have been easier if i had a ladder stand off but will one fit on my point ladder how many rungs down do you need to go before it fits or is it better to get a standard tripple ladder

Don't know about using stand off with a pointer but on a normal extension ladder it's recommended that it be placed on the 2nd rung from the top, so presume it'll have to be used where it's wide enough to fit. Maybe check with supplier to be certain.

you might be able to use a ladder stay if you had footings but i think that it would be so far down the ladder it could be a recipe for disaster
