Best price and with seemingly good reports would be a CLX27,i have a CLX22 and ought to have gone 27 but will be ringing Gardiners monday morning to see can i get another section. The big selling point for me was the closed length making it much less awkward to clean at ground level. I am a wfp newbie but i looked hard before choosing the CLX,If i had more customers i would have gone for the SLX,In fact no i wouldn`t,not until they rectify the black hands problem. And if you do choosE CLX ask for a glue kit as there have been a few problems with clamps coming unstuck, easy remedied though and my opinion is that end users allow a bit of leaway with Gardiners as its a nice bit of new kit plus it does appear the customer service is more than happy to assist and remedy any problems.

i like gardiners clx poles. i have the 22ft and its really light but sturdy enough for every day work ..

its like a 3 in 1 pole - good closed length for ground floor but long enough for 1st and most 2nd floor windows ..

i had to re glue two clamps but it took me about 2 mins to sort and glue was dry within 2 hours ...

I still reckon Brodex aluminium poles for durability and user friendliness
