they'll be bothered if they got normal motor insurance & not business..... well they were when it was me ;D

sure the HMRC would like to know if they were making unsolicited gains?

never mind, as i say im not a grass, and wouldnt do this for "no reason" and will only use this tactic as a last resort

in scotland if they have a license then its proof that at the time of issue they were not on benefits or had a police record and had the proper liability insurance etc etc.

Be a grass, I would ! Everybody should be if you know anything. Whats with this idea that is wrong to blow in on people who are robbing the country and more import robbing you and me.

I am fed up with these blokes who keep stopping me to ask if I'm looking for any help and then say "But I only want cash in hand cos I am on benefits"

Be a grass? Are you missing the important thing in his post when he says he doesn't know the guys status? Are you also fed up with these people who want to know your business when its nothing to do with them?

If they are legit they have nothing to fear, many are not.

I don't know about you mate, but i personally fear anyone checking up on me to see if they had "one up on me". There's something scarey about that, and yes i'm legit. I think anyone checking people should be made public also, in the interests of balance as i'm sure you'll agree and understand. If we've all got nothing to hide, then lets not hide it.
There's nothing wrong with 'grassing' when you see something wrong, there is something inherently wrong with looking for things to grass people on.
