Title: Vented tank lids
Post by: Dave Willis on October 07, 2010, 08:54:43 pm
Are crap - the ones with the button type vent in the middle. Water splattered all over my van every morning.

Sealed it up now and put in a pipe like off road motorcycles have for their petrol tanks.

You can drill a small hole in the lid put a screw in, but don’t tighten.

Air can circulate and the water won’t come out.

I always thought you had a screw loose !!   ;D

Best way Dave, that's what I've got on mine, no water comes out of it at all. ;)
