Post by: s.hughes on October 07, 2010, 05:17:05 pm
How does everyone clean their brushes?
I leave mine in a bucket of pure water every night, but do I realy need to do this?

I dont but sometimes wonder if I should, especially if theyve had a 'cobwebby' day.

Saying that, think I'll go and put them in a bucket of water for now!

i rub the brush in my hand pretty much after each window, would be a good idea to bring them in house and give them a good clean each week though

Whilst your cleaning a ground floor window and frame just give the brush a few harder strokes across the frame, Job done.

I GIVE THE BRUSH A RUB IN THE MORNING PICKING OUT ANY DEBRIS THAT HAS GOT DEEP INTO THE BRUSH WHEN ITS DRY, AND I RUN HAND ACROSS IT DURING THE DAY.

i don't bother cleaning them at all, it seems pointless since the first wipe over a dirty sill or door step and they would be dirty again. There maybe a few cobwebs that I pull off now and again, but generally I find that brushes clean themselves in use.
