Got a leaflet waiting for me today when I got home. Special offer, living room, dining room, hall, stairs and top landing with 1 bedroom for £35, plus 3 piece suite for £25 if booked together. Makes my 3 piece suite in 45 mins look dear ;D ;D
Anyone seen any lower, and oh, should I be worried :o

I got one delivered today as well, says in your area now, half price cleaning lounge £24
In the small print it says technician may suggest it needs double cleaning, i suppose that means double the price, deodourising extra and RETEXTURISING whatever thay may be also extra.

I cleaned a sofa the other day... £80... The lady told me her usual carpet cleaner only charged £25... ::)
I did ask why she hadn't used him this time round... "I think he doesn't do it any more!" She said..
I wouldn't be worried mate!!!

We all sell at prices higher and lower than our competitors some companies charge really low prices as to gain customers fast and with no selling apart from a cheap price, you could say that you don't want that kind of customer but some customers see the leaflet and just think that clean is clean and it will be the £8.99 price (or whatever price) only thing I can recommend is to hone your selling technique be ready for the conversation on price with well chosen phrases.
We do clean and speed dry at no extra cost
We clean and rinse
We condition, clean and turbo dry

You need to get used to it. There will be a LOT of new people out of work next year with some public sector money burning a hole in their pocket to by a rotary and a couple of pads.
Think about this, some of the cheaper guys may not have spent much on kit, insurance etc and like the bear and the two Hikers story, you only have to outrun your competition.

I would just book him ;D ;D
