A customer asked me to paint his porch bright red.

It took me about 3 hours but looked great when i was done.

He did look a bit confused though when I told him it was not a porch at all......

It was a mercedes

Depending on the colour of the roof, use either white silicone sealant or translucent (clear) sealant. As already mentioned, you can get it from b & q, homebase etc.

What about roof and gutter sealant black colour?

Gutter sealant is black, it is sold by all local DIY chains.

When running a bead of any mastic make sure you wet your finger with water that has a reasonable dose of fairy liquid in it, this acts as a lubricant and helps to prevent it sticking to things it shouldnt.

why should you fix her roof for her? ::)

if your adamant you didnt cause the leak then its her problem!

i would matter of factly(but very politely!)tell her im a cleaner not a glazier and leave it at that.
