Hello All,
I am looking to by a new pole from Gardiners tomorrow, and would like some advice from those with more knowledge than myself.
All of my work is commercial, but I am now heading in to much larger jobs, should I go for the SUPER MAX or SUPER LITE.
I look forward to your opinions.
Warwick.

IF U ALREADY HAVE A DECENT TELESCOPIC POLE TO COPE WITH HEIGHTS OF SAY 30FT I WOULD GO FOR A MODULAR, MUCH MORE RIGID AND LIGHTER PLUS U CAN ALWAYS ADD SECTIONS IF U NEED TOO. S MAX LOOKS GOOD BUT I WOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT THE BEND IN IT AT HEIGHT. I HAVE 30FT SLX AND A SUPERLITE AND THE SL IS STIFF AS A BROOM AT 30 BUT THE SLX DOES HAVE A BIT OF BEND. HAVE TO ADMIT NEVER SEEN A SUPERMAX IN ACTION WOULD LIKE TO,GARDINER SHOULD DO A VID.

bit heavy but good for big commercial jobs is the brodex alloy hydra poles - good price to with 3 year warrenty ...

SO WHAT DID U GO FOR ADVANCE?

i use my brodex 25ft hydra on a few commercial jobs and big country houses.great sturdy pole IMO and great if its a bit windy and your out in the open!
my normal day to day pole is a clx 22footer which is great for big chunks of my domestic work.nice and light and a great short closed length.
im using a n-tech glass fibre 20 footer though at the moment (with a supalite brush)as an emergency pole due to needing a new clamp for clx.
if you need a 40+ft pole ive heard the supermax are good! ;) ;D ;D

The better pole to use is the sl although it is harder to erect. So if you have long runs of windows at height then go for the sl but if your working on building with a smaller footprint go for a telescopic.
