We have a large carpet retailer who pass on £1000s of work per year. She called me to remove a red wine stain I used sodium met this did remove all the staining plus it bowned, this week I was called again the son had spilled a beer she had used a lot of water & it browned! I used hydragen proxide this has not removed it. Customer phoned Brintons who told her to use 1001.

Hi Martin,
Have you tried browning prescription from prochem, I normally find this does the trick esp on recent browning ?

I think the point of Martin's post is that a major manufacturer like Brintons would suggest that the client uses a product that we all despise.

Very true steve

how can sod mets cause browning?
-
I have been told I need to use Oxykic the is a two part produrt made by Bissell any one ever used it or where tobuy it
-
Personally I wouldnt have used sod met on wine at all. Its normally dead easy to remove without this 'risky' procedure.

Using Sod Met need not be a risky business, provided you know what you are doing.
As for 'it's normally dead easy' ... Yes, if you are dealing with a £5.99 bottle of plonk or the likes of a Beaujolais Nouveau, but if you are trying to obliterate a good & aged claret - you'll find it takes somewhat more work

sod mets everytime, don't know what the big deal is. it works and its easy.
