Title: Filling DI vessel ?

I have  new DI vessel and wondered what the correct method  for filling with resin was ?

I dont want to damage anything so your comments would be greatly appreciated  ;D

take lid off  and fill up to the neck, pour some water in then put resin and lid back on

So once the vessel is full of resin  will the riser go in with little resistance, just dont want to damage it !

fill it up with water and it will help it go in easier
