With some of my larger houses I am considering connecting a di vessel to their water supply to clean windows wfp.
Could anyone tell me how many litres of pure water I should get from 5 litres of resin and a tap tds of around 75ppm and flow rate of around 1.75 litres per minute.
Thanks

At that flow rate it should run for appx 12 hours and then the resin will be depleted. 1333 Litres of pure water produced appx.

Thank you very much for that.
Could I ask how you calculated this ?

I would go for an 11ltr vessel. You'll get a lot of work done with what you describe. I did this myself for a while about 7 years ago. My brother in-law still does this on large counrty houses, he carries his gear in an astra estate!

i dont think it looks professional using their water!get a backpack or trolley and a few barrels if its just for a few houses and purify at home before driving to the job.

A matter of oppinion. some would say the same about lugging a trolly around the streets! ;D
It's a very easy & economical way of using wfp, especially when the customer has soft water. My bro' in-law is very professional & has a very lucrative round. ;)

Thanks, I am using a trolley/carting water at present and a big rural coastal home I did this week consumed over 120 litres of water. They have tap connections all around the house and I think it would look more professional connecting to their water, and of course make the job a lot easier. This particular home takes me 3 hrs just for the outside and another 4 hrs inside.

i still think it looks cowboyish.what if they want to wash their car?or water the lawn?
i have on occasions used an outside tap for a dirty conservatory roof for example with their permission of course but wouldnt like to have to hook up every time i clean their windows!!just my opinion.
by the way the freedom trolley is a great piece of kit and custies often comment on how "hi-tech" and professional i am these days!! ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

I agree & I would do it mate. I used to hook my DI's up to the mains tap of a hotel before varistreams adorned my van! ;)

Sorry but I cant agree with you there Dazmond.
Although the trolley is fine on smaller houses it (in my opinion) is hard work on very large homes, and I feel a little unprofessional when using it.
Connecting to any of the 10 or so taps is not an issue.
Winp o Clean, thanks for your input.
It is nice to know that others use this method.
