when i first started it was common practice to climb out on ledges ok i never did a building 34 storeys high but often did nine to twelve storeys. im not saying we should go back to this as it was obviously not very safe but back then people would just look up and say oh a window cleaner you deffinately wouldnt get a newspaper article about you.

yeah of you google early 1900's window cleaners there all stood on ledges on high rise building!

just like the old costruction/steel workers, walking along narrow been 100's of feet in the air

i wouldnt do it!  ;D
