Title: Backed up George...Now what?

Just backed up George ready to put on new pc..downloaded it to new pc and nothing?

Any ideas guys?

You need to use the Data Restore Utility. It can be found on this page >> http://www.georgesystems.co.uk/Download/download.html

Cheers guys, Ive downloaded data restore etc and have had the latest back up email to me, but they dont seem to be coming together? :o

Back up onto USB stick from old PC, then restore onto new PC.

I had problems too (being old and thick) I think they emailed the back up to me and I dragged and dropped the file into George on the desktop.

Maybe ....... I forget now.

I tried all this and it didnt work for me either. But I backed up to my external hard drive. the only different the old computer is windows xp and the new computer runs window 7 maybe the one has a conflict problem?

So I use the old computer just to do the accounts. So I got annoyed with it. ???

All sorted ..daughter did it by plugging in her usb thingy!
