Title: Which System
Post by: Silver Surfer on September 30, 2010, 12:01:24 pm
Morning Guys

I need some help(In more ways than one ;D)

I'm looking to get a WFP kit, somthing second hand and small ish!!!

I live in a hard water area so would i be better to look at a R/O or DI system

If i went for the DI system is it gonna e expensive for resin or can i prolong the resin with a brine solution,or just get the RO system and change the filters

All replys appriciated

Thanks

If you live in a hard water area then ro & di would be best. With regards to system size, don't buy a small system only to regret it later.

How much money do you intend investing in equipment? This would help others to evaluate your position.

John Hewitt has some very reasonably priced RO systems that'd be great for someone starting out. Resin only would be very expensive,.. a small RO will pay for itself in 3 months easily.

Nathanael mentioned John Hewitt, but you could also have a look at the Pure Freedom systems. Very reasonably priced.
