I have both the xtel and the alloy. The alloy is very very rigid compared, hardly any bend in it at all.

If you can handle the weight then Ali poles are a really good buy.
they bend far less than f/g

Heavy but a good solid pole.  Dont like the goose neck though.

I've got a 36 foot Brodex aluminium pole and it's a very good pole with little in the way of flex in it considering its length. However it IS heavy so just be prepared for the weight and don't think you can use all day, every day unless you're the Incredible Hulk. And even then...  ;D

Have got the 25 and that's heavy enough for me to ONLY use on the windows I have to... Couldn't imagine another 11ft ontop of that.

Ive had a 25ft one about 6 months now. When I first got it I thought it was best pole I ever had. However when my 30ft slx arrived. My thoughts changed as the Slx is 10 times lighter than the Brodex.
