attention all tradders are you fed up with custys moaning about the holes your ladders make in there lawn or flower beds .why not carry a few bags of ready mixed concrete in the back of the corsa. simply mix with water and lay it on the lawn or flower bed. level it out .use your squeegee for this. make it square approx half metre should be big enough, hey presto nice level ground for your ladder and no more moans from custys . bonus tip . if you have a few moaners in one area it could be cheaper to get a ready mix wagon to follow you round for the day . ;)happy tradding

good tips barry! ;D

Barry, I tried your tip today but as soon as I put the ladder on the concrete, it sunk in and still left holes in the flowerbed.
What am I doing wrong ???
-
youve got to wait for the concrete to set ;D

What I am doing is buying ladders and concreting them in permanently so there are no holes and I will not have to carry ladder on my bike. Has any one got old ladder to donate to me .All you WFP chaps. In exchange I will get you a place in haven for your old ladders. ;D ;D ::) :o ;D ;D

that is a brilliant idea . or you could stand your ladders in a bucket of concrete overnight. smash the bucket off, and you have a permanent concrete base for your ladders. no more holes happy custys. keep on tradding ;)

Thanks for that Barry. It certainly makes a difference when you wait for
the concrete to set.
Anyways, now I've got the hang of it, I went to a large country house this afternoon
and it's surrounded by flowerbeds and lawns. It took me a while to lay all the concrete slabs where I need them but well worth all the hard work.
Even the customer is happy! Cos now she has somewhere to stand all her large flower tubs and all I have to do is move them when I clean the windows :D :D
I can't thank you enough for the tips you've given me. Everyone's a winner!

All you need do is to saw off the sides of the ladder until its level with the bottom rung and then to be doubly sure of not indenting lawns then always attach a block and tackle above each window supporting the weight, works for me.In fact sometimes i dont bother with the ladders at all and just haul myself up.

or you could just go wfp.......

Yes i have one but its only 2 ft long, always use ladders or block and tackle
